SING-A-LONG MESSAGE BOARD - FOR CHILDREN.
We will soon be launching a Sing-A-Long Message Board for children. Here is
the message at the top of the page:

Teachers, Assistants and Parents. The purpose of this message board is to
give children the opportunity to practise their writing, typing and reading
skills. Encourage your learners to write and/or type their messages and to
then Copy & Paste them into the TOPIC Box (if the message is a new topic)
or the REPLY Box (if the message is a reply). We very much welcome messages
from children of all ages and abilities, provided that the messages and
spellings are largely their own work. Thank you for helping us to make this
an interesting and enjoyable forum for children.

Is your school or class (or child, if you are a parent) willing to help us
by starting to use the Message Board before it goes live to everyone? If
the answer is YES - please send me an email and I will direct you to the
website.

THRASS 120 READING AND SPELLING TEST - FOR SCHOOLS AND HOMES.
The THRASS 120 Reading and Spelling Test is now downloadable as a 90KB pdf
document from http://www.thrass.co.uk/downloads120ras.htm. Schools
(teachers, assistants, educational psychologists, speech therapists etc)
and also parents can use the tests to see if their children can read and
spell the keywords.

DEMONSTRATION LESSON VIDEOS FROM BARBADOS - INCLUDING MOVE-A-LONG.
We now have a number of new videostreams and downloads on

Teachers and student teachers are introduced to MOVE-A-LONG WITH
SING-A-LONG at Erdiston Teachers' Training College - including soundtracks
from Voice of Barbados Radio and a recording of teachers and high school
students at Lester Vaughan High School, St Thomas.

THRASS ABSA TALKTOGETHER PROJECT - SOUTH AFRICA.
Complimentary SING-A-LONG and Picturechart resources will be distributed to
identified government schools over the next few weeks and months. The
distribution is being handled by PWS (www.pws.co.za).
