I have a story to share which is probably one of my greatest accomplishments to date (other than my 4 wonderful children!)
When Reach for a Dream contacted me and asked if I’d be interested in doing a wall mural for a little boy, who’s dream was to have a dinosaur bedroom, I jumped at the opportunity to not only do something charitable with this wonderful organization, but to help make a little boy’s dream come true.
On the day of our arrival at little Erich’s house, I heard the excited squeal from inside: “Yay, dis my verf tannie!”
My daughter Bianca, and her boyfriend Daryn assisted me in this project, and in 3 days we had created Erich’s land of dinosaurs.
Bestowing something so special to someone who asks so little, was by far the most rewarding remuneration I could have wished for: Generosity has no price, but the guarantee of fulfillment is life-long!
I have always believed that the more we give, without actually expecting any reciprocation, the more we will be blessed in return.
