“MAFUTHA THE ELEPHANT”A new children’s book from the creators of Beautiful Creatures CD’s.

From the team that brought you the highly acclaimed children’s music series “BEAUTIFUL CREATURES” comes their first children’s book, “MAFUTHA THE ELEPHANT”.

Ed Jordan and Alan Glass have collaborated once again, this time in print form. “MAFUTHA THE ELEPHANT” is a story based on the song of the same name from the first Beautiful Creatures album.

The book, is magnificently illustrated by Sandy Lightly, who is responsible for all the Beautiful Creatures CD covers. Each page has been hand painted, and is a work of art.

In true Beautiful Creatures fashion, the book is designed as an easy way for parents and children to interact as a shared ‘read aloud’ experience. It is also an ideal tool for emergent readers. The combination of pictures and rhyme will enchant, and is appropriate for children from 2 to 7.

The book tells the story of a young elephant who can't stop eating, and is teased by her friends as she gets bigger and bigger. Mafutha has the last laugh though, as she grows up to be tall, strong and beautiful! Now available at all good book stores nationwide.
