Share information, download educational content for your local schools especially those with no internet or budget to do it themselves, (many videos, worksheets and even flashcards are available for free). Get creative and share your ideas. Everyone can make a difference, no matter how small.

Obami is a social networking site that’s been developed as an e-learning, collaboration and communication platform for use within and between both primary and secondary schools. Obami was voted as one of the Top 10 most innovative technologies in January 2011. If your school has not registered with Obami, you can go on to the web site and send them a "nudge" and Obami will send your school an email to let them know more about Obami.

 Khan Academy
A not-for-profit with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere. All of the site's resources are available to anyone. It doesn't matter if you are a student, teacher, home-schooler, principal, adult returning to the classroom after 20 years, or a friendly alien just trying to get a leg up in earthly biology. The Khan Academy's materials and resources are available to you completely free of charge.

The THRASS Phoneme Machine is a FREE computer programme that uses moving human lips to pronounce the sounds (phonemes) in hundreds of frequently used English words. It is an excellent resource for teachers, assistants and parents for learning about, and also teaching, the fundamental building blocks of English in an entertaining and fun way.
