Happy New Year!
I hope you and your families had a wonderful Christmas.
We have had such warm Summer weather in KZN lately, I have moved my office next to the swimming pool. This is the perfect way to ease back into work. I can work on the laptop and watch the kids and their friends playing happily in the sandpit, paddling in the pool and riding their bikes. What a great way to start 2007.
Judging by the amount of entertainment there was available to families towards the end of 2006, I have no doubt that 2007 will have even more to offer. However, as January is the month of recouping, catching your breath and rebuilding the cash reserves after a busy festive season, there is not a lot on the go right now. We have instead included some useful back to school information in this issue.

Alice in Wonderland
Don’t be late… you have a very important date with Alice and her friends at the Peoples Theatre. Join us down the rabbit-hole for a contemporary take on Lewis Carroll’s ‘masterpiece of the ridiculous’. Alice in Wonderland presents an enchanted topsy-turvy world where nothing is what it seems. Come and meet the hurried and neurotic White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat - and all your other wonderfully eccentric friends – on a journey where young Alice learns to see the world from a different perspective.

TIME(S): Performance times vary, two shows daily from Monday to Saturday
TICKET PRICES: R70 for non-members and Kids Club members pay R45, with accompanying audience members paying R60. Special school performances are available at R40.00 per learner, with one complimentary Educator ticket issued per 20 learners.
