Next weekend from 12 – 15 May 2011 is The Baby Expo - MamaMagic™ Joburg at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg. Here moms (and dads of course) can speak to experts, engage with world leading providers of baby and parenting solutions and services, and see and touch the latest in baby care and parenting resources. And of course little ones of all shapes, colours and sizes will be able to sing-a-long with Barney. As usual there’ll be a rush for tickets so make sure you reserve your seat for the Barney show early when you buy your ticket at Computicket.

Finally, here are my thoughts on what Mothers' Day means for moms. Mothers’ Day for moms is not about being spoilt, receiving gifts or having breakfast in bed. It’s not about having a day off, or a visit to the Spa or having a special day set aside just for moms. Mothers’ Day for moms is about ensuring their children feel good about making their Mom feel special and making a fuss of whatever the kids have made or done, no matter what it is. Making sure their family is happy on a day set aside just for moms is what being a great mom is all about!

Having said that it doesn’t mean to say that we don’t enjoy the extra benefits provided by our family on Mothers’ Day no matter how big or small they are. Hope you have a great one!
