M.O.M. Diary

Publisher: MOM Diary
Author: Alison. Design by Howard Deary Design

M.O.M. DiaryA well thought out diary produced by a busy mom to 4 sons for other busy moms who have to juggle work, school, managing a household and being a wife.

The M.O.M. diary (stands for most organised mother) is an A4 size and has a page for each working day which is divided into the following sections:

1. Important numbers
2. Special dates
3. Personal chores and appointments
4. Work tasks and appointments
5. My goals and personal wellbeing
6. Kids stuff
7. Today I am grateful for

I like that every day you are reminded to think of something to be grateful for and to remember your own personal wellbeing!

Saturday and Sunday share a page.

At the front of the diary you will find instructions on how to make the most of this diary, public holidays, a business directory, school terms and holidays, a year planner and 2 pages to paste in your family collage.

The back of the diary includes a Kids Sports Schedule for Summer and Winter, 2 pages for your goal collage, goal setting instructions, 4 pages to fill in your goals for 2011, a personal wish list, a page for gift ideas, a section for important information and numbers, budget planners and contact address lists. The last pages in the book include a section to paste your child's class lists and a plastic sleave to keep a few bits and pieces or notices you are currently utilising. At the beginning of each month is a "To Do List".

This diary has a sophisticated feminine design and is available in a choice of 4 colours. The diary is R175 including postage which is a fair price considering the amount of useful content it includes.

A great gift idea that will no doubt be welcomed by all moms, not just the mom entrepreneurs or working moms. A useful addition to consider for the 2012 edition would be to add an "ideas" page, although these can be included on the goal pages or blank notes pages for now. I would also recommend that an A5 size be considered for future publications as the smaller size will fit in to a handbag easily and can then be carried at all times.
