A humourous and factual annual full of highlights of the 2010 soccer year. (I will continue this review using the term Football, the name used for this sport in the UK.) From the makers of the UK's No.1 Football Magazine for serious soccer enthusiasts.
The annual includes the following:
Player of the year, pictures of the year, posters, interviews, quizzes, word search, puzzles, funny stories and rumors, movie mash up (where they have photoshopped football players into well known movie posters), top 10 face fuzz, classic 2010 moments and quotes, the worst and craziest moments, the best and worst of world cup 2010, game legends also done in a mash up style, and ending off with The Awesome Adventures of Matchman.
Although I know very little about the UK football scene and do not have much interest in it either, I do enjoy the Brits sense of humour and I did chuckle a few times when I read the annual. If I look at this annual from the point of view of a young football fan, it is definitely a winner.
Parents note that the creators of this annual do make fun of the soccer players especially at their worst moments, but the Vuvuzela gets a good review despite being labeled "the most annoying noise in the world!"
