We are a non-profit performing arts education and training organisation situated in Claremont, Cape Town. We offer lessons in magic, juggling, ventriloquism and mime and clowning for young people aged 10 years and older.
In February 2008, the College’s introductory courses in magic will begin:
- Course One is for primary school learners from the age of 10 years, and runs for 15 weeks (February – June).
- Course Magic & Showmanship is for high school learners, and runs for 30 weeks (February – November).
Lessons take place on Saturday mornings between 09h00 and 13h00, at the College of Magic Centre in Claremont.
For kids, the College of Magic’s unique performing arts curriculum offers an exciting extra-curricular alternative; for parents, it is an amazing development tool. Our one-of-a-kind education helps develop self-esteem and builds self-confidence in young people.
In addition to our classes, the College also has a Shows Booking Office with a vast database of quality performers, including College of Magic students, graduates and professional entertainers. Magicians, clowns, mimes, jugglers, face painters, ventriloquists, stilt walkers and unicyclists are available for corporate events, product launches and birthday parties for all ages! |
