Our school provides quality pre-school education to children from ages 3 - 6 years, with a Grade R programme .
Our Vision : Is to be the leading provider of pre-primary education in our area.
To achieve this, we lay foundations that will help formal education flourish. Literacy comes easily to children who
have developed the important basic skills during the first six years of their lives. We provide appropriate holistic
education, in a secure Christian environment, that caters for every facet of your child's development, including:
- Gross motor co-ordination
- Fine muscle control
- Emotional maturity
- Social integration
- Perceptual and cognitive skills
At Lynnwood Ridge Pre-Primary, highly qualified and experienced teachers work together with you, the parent,
to provide your child with a solid base for future success. We produce happy, confident children, able to easily adapt to routine and discipline and very well prepared for primary school.
The school offers stimulating after school activities on four days a week during term time. More information
about these activities and their costs can be obtained from the school office. These include: Gymnastics,
Swimming, Miki Maths, Ballet and Playball.
Grade R boys who are interested, join Lynnwood Ridge Primary School Junior Soccer teams on Saturdays.
Children bring their own healthy mid morning snacks on a daily basis. These should include a sandwich, fruit,
yoghurt and juice or water. We do not allow fizzy drinks, sweets, biscuits or chips. Full day children also bring a
healthy, child-friendly lunch and a mid-afternoon snack.
- 07:30 - 08:30 Arrival
- 08:30 - 12:30 Daily programme
- 12:30 - 13:15 Half day children depart
- 13:15 - 17:00 Aftercare
School terms are laid down by the Gauteng Department of Education
