How do I add my business to the Kidzworld directory?

Can I add more pictures?

Yes, when you upgrade your listing.

A standard plan permits 6 pictures, a premium plan permits 9 pictures and a deluxe plan permits 12 pictures. View our rate card for costs for each plan.

How do I feature in the newsletter?

Kidzworld newsletters are sent out every Monday morning to our subscriber data base of over 10,000 email addresses. Where there is a public holiday, circulation will default to the next working day.  View our newsletter archive.

Each new advertiser will be featured under the 'Family Resources' section at no cost with a link to your listing in our directory.

Available advertising slots to purchase in our newsletters:

  • Newsletter banner advertising - please see our banner advertising rate card
  • Featured competition slot @ R300 per newsletter issue
  • Featured deal slot @ R300 per newsletter issue
  • Featured event slot @ R300 per newsletter issue

These featured slots can either link to your listing, deal, competition or event listed on our website or they can link directly to your website.

Please note that you do not need paid advertising in our directory in order to advertise in our weekly newsletters.

How do I run a competition?

If you have a valid standard, premium or deluxe plan, you can log in on our web site and submit your competition through the 'user menu' on the left hand navigation bar. Click on 'submit competition'. You will see a form and guidelines on the information to submit.

Once you have submitted your competition, our content manager will receive notification. The competition will be checked. If it is approved you will receive notification and the competition will be published live on our competitions page. You will receive exposure through your competition form via a link on our competitions page as well as on our home page in the right hand column and through our social media pages.

We email you a single spreadsheet with entries about 3 days after the close of your competition.  You will then be required to select the winner(s), contact him/her/them and arrange to send him/her/them the prize(s).

Please remember to advise us of the winner’s details so that we may publish them on the site. We will include on the entry form, a check box which the entrants can tick if they opt in to receive future updates or newsletters from you.

You can also purchase a 'featured competition' slot in our weekly newsletters which links to your competition on our website or to a competition on your website.  Please email us if you would like to book a slot or if you require further information.
      
How do I let people know about my specials / family deals?

If you have a valid standard, premium or deluxe plan, you can log in on our web site and submit your deal through the 'user menu' on the left hand navigation bar. Click on 'submit special'. You will see a form and guidelines on the information to submit. Once you have submitted your special, our directory editor will receive notification. The special will be checked and once approved, published live on our family deals page.

You will receive exposure through our family deals page as well as on our home page in the right hand column and through our social media pages.

A 'featured family deal' slot can also be purchased in our weekly newsletters which links to your deal on our website or to a deal on your website.  Please email us if you would like to book a slot or if you require further information.
     
Can I add a press release to the news office?

Yes if you have a valid standard, premium or deluxe plan, you can log in on our web site and submit your news through the 'user menu' on the left hand navigation bar. Click on submit news.  You will see a form and guidelines on what information to submit. Once you have submitted your news, our directory editor will receive notification. The news item will be checked. If it is approved you will receive notification and the news item will be published live either under our family news or product news pages which are linked on our home page. We also feature news items in the right hand column on our website home page as well as through our social media pages.
     
Can I add an event to the regional events calendars?

Yes. Anyone is permitted to submit a family friendly event for our events calendars. Submit your event through our submit an event form. You will be notified once your event has been approved and added to one or more of our regional events calendars.

A 'featured family event' slot can also be purchased in our weekly newsletters which links to your website or to our event calendar.  Please email us if you would like to book a slot or if you require further information.

Can I link to your website from mine?

Yes. Please visit our link to us page for instructions on how to create a link to our web site from yours.
      
How do I obtain the page impressions for my listing?

Log in and select 'manage listing' on your 'user menu'. You will be able to view the number of view on your listing on your listing dashboard.
      
How do I check if www.kidzworld.co.za is driving traffic to my web site?

Check your web stats with your web site designer or the company that hosts your web site. They will be able to tell you the name of the top web sites that are referring traffic to your web site.
